A bloody cold

Partner has just said to me and that I don't care about him at all and I only care about myself - because I haven't asked him how he is feeling because he has..... a cold!!

He won't do a covid test and is still working ( after 2 days off ) and playing sport !

Told me o only think of myself and care about what I'm doing ! This is not true if anything I put most people before myself !

It didn't matter when I had a migraine or chest pains or 3 days post c section or when I had mastitis he still fucked off out to play his sport!!

Aibu or is he being abit pathetic ?

How he consistently treated you when you were so unwell would have been enough for me to reconsider the relationship then. I don’t stand for uncaring, thoughtless people who can only consider their own needs - especially post c section and mastitis - presumably with his child?

Also if he was sick enough for 2 days of work with cold like symptoms why hasn’t he taken a test .

It doesn’t sound like you really even like each other that much?

I would ask my dh how he was if he had a cold but then he would ask me too

He doesn't actually sound like a keeper...he's never there for you when you're quite unwell, but expects you to fawn over him when he has a run of the mill cold?

On the face of it YANBU but there could be a lot more going on here.

Whilst a cold is unlikely to be a big deal and warrant a big fuss perhaps he's feeling under appreciated and taken for granted? No doubt you feel that way given the examples you've shared, but with only one side of the story it's impossible to say.
