To be worried our buyers are going to pull out

Our buyers have said they will not arranging a builders survey until after we have had an offer accepted on a new house. Does this indicate a lack of commitment to buying our house? Really worried they are going to pull out.

Sorry should also say, they have previously said they want to move things along so why then are they choosing not to get a builders survey done until we have found somewhere to move to?

We are currently in the process of buying a house. We had 2 fall through last year due to sellers changing their minds/being unable to find an onward purchase so I don't blame your buyers for wanting to wait until you have found somewhere. It's a big chunk of money to lose for them when you currently have nowhere to go.

More likely they paid for surveys elsewhere and owners didn't move then. It's more just not wanting to waste money imho

Because you have no incentive to find somewhere to live, your worry needs to incentivise you to move.

Safest bet for you is to arrange a date and leave then, if you've not found anywhere else, find somewhere else to stay in the mean time.
