Is 520 square feet a small flat for 2 people?

Would you consider this a very small flat?

I can't work out if it's small but a completely normal size for two people, or if it's actually too small and most couples would find it a pain in the arse for storage etc. We seem to have so much stuff but nothing we can throw away, really!

AIBU to find our flat small, or not?

Its bigger than my old flat, there were two of us. I found the storage generous to be honest but there was only a very small kitchenette with a hob but no oven.

I live in a 688 square foot flat. The size of the rooms are fine. Livingroom and main bedroom are big, 2nd bedroom can fit a double bed. The kitchen is small as is the bathroom. I struggle most with the kitchen. We don't have much storage but this isn't helped with my husband have a lot of things!! I think id struggle with a place 520 square feet.

I'd say it's small; around 50sqm. I'd hate it but then I live in the North East where you get a lot more for your money

Well, I live in a similar sized flat (just me + the dog though) but lived for a very long time in smaller flats, either on my own (320 square feet) or with my ex boyfriend (370 sq feet). Not a problem at all but we were ruthless with stuff. Minimalism is the key.

I personally always enjoyed living in my small flats, mine feels almost too big for me now.

Me and my boyfriend live in an 18sqm room🤣💀
