Just a fairly light hearted vent.
It really annoys me when a someone posts a thread with a problem and they get lots of replies to say, “you’ve made your own bed”, “I wouldn’t have done that to begin with”, “if you weren’t happy, why do it?”
Why do we have to start off by telling the OP that essentially it’s their fault they’re in that situation?
They probably already know that and don’t have a time machine to change that original decision, why say it?
YABU - if you post a thread, expect a fully honest and brutal opinion.
YANBU - we shouldn’t decision bash and be a bit more understanding.
