What questions might they ask me and how many questions will they ask me?

Fyi it’s going to be via zoom video chat so I should be okay just to pop on a nice top and pjs and do my hair nicely right?

Most likely : do you have an physical issues with lifting etc. What hours can you work. Can you do nights and weekends. Do you have any experience - family you’ve cared for etc. Can you work at short notice, have a car and can do 12hour shifts.

Brush up on P.P.E they will include a question about that given the pandemic. They may also ask you about complaints and how you would deal with them and what would you do if someone asked you to do something you didnt know or were not trained to do. They may also ask you about infection control and disposal of p.p.e and linens etc .

They may ask a little about safeguarding. They won't expect you to know loads, but maybe to recognise when service users are being exploited by family members etc.

One of the standard questions at any interview should be why are you applying for the job/what makes you a suitable candidate for care work?

I just want to say to the clothes. Dress all properly. Firstly, you never know if you will have to quickly stand up. Secondly, it makes it feel all proper and ime the performance is better.

In my experience they will ask a questions relating to equal opportunities, risk assessment, confidentiality as well as PPE and infection control. Also how to keep a service users dignity etc etc
