Genuinely have no ideas what to do tomorrow. What do you guys have planned? Walking/shopping/chill at home

OP posts:
Lovenahla · 19/06/2021 23:46

Just going to see my dad

RicherThanYew · 19/06/2021 23:50

Dusting my dad's urn while I update him on my recent run in with a wall Grin Also making mochi with my wee boy for DH. Hope the rain buggers off so we can go bug hunting.

jamsponge40 · 19/06/2021 23:52

Made a card with some craft shit I found. Going to Harvester tomorrow, never been.

Silkiecats · 19/06/2021 23:53

I've just ordered afternoon teas and a chelsea bun cake for DH. He didn't want to go out as its rain forecast.

ineedaholidaynow · 19/06/2021 23:54

Missing my DF.

DS is going to cook DH’s choice of dinner

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 19/06/2021 23:54

DC are making DH breakfast in bed before we go bowling and then out for lunch. Will visit our dads after to drop their presents off.

maddening · 20/06/2021 00:13

Went to see my dad today, took him a whole lunch and cream tea which we.had with mum in the garden in the sun and had a lovely afternoon. For dh, he wants a buffet and to watch the euros, have got him some treats for the buffet but his main present is a glamping trip to the lakes for him and ds, so got him a pair of water pistols to have tomorrow so he and ds can have a water fight.

Vivana · 20/06/2021 00:16

Think about him as we lost him to cancer in 2012 Sad

Cryalot2 · 20/06/2021 00:19

Both parents are deceased so me and adult kids will make a fuss of dh ( he would make a fuss otherwise) . Hoping he likes his gift. Will walk dog later.

Lollypop4 · 20/06/2021 00:20

I will take a card up for DF. He has everything and its really hard to get him anything except a voucher for meal out- So I might get him that or put a few dribks in at his local pub for him.
Dp works long hours ,7 days a week ,in his hospitality buisness- Fathers Day is a write off for him .
The Dc will give him gifts and cards on Monday ( He has the evening off, hurray!)

littleredsky · 20/06/2021 00:24

This is my first father's day without both my dad and my mum. My dad died in 2018 and my mum in Feb this year so I'm not making plans, just going to see how the day takes me. I might stretch myself to some DIY and a takeaway kebab in his memory!

LoopTheLoops · 20/06/2021 00:25

Nothing, I sent my dad something from amazon as he doesn’t live local and my children’s father is not involved.

bluechameleon · 20/06/2021 00:26

Cooked breakfast, chilled morning, potter around shopping centre then afternoon tea.

Notenoughchocolateomg · 20/06/2021 00:33

I'm the father on father's day as my sons dad is a deadbeat dad. Just a lovely day with my boys hopefully.

Ohdofuckofdear · 20/06/2021 00:33

For my DH me and our 5DC and DGS have bought him cards and presents for him to open in the morning followed by me making breakfast for everyone(I became ill and disabled after we had our 5DC so he normally does everything for us)and then were all going out in the afternoon for a nice meal and then the DC are going to make tea in the evening for all of us.

My lovely Dad is no longer with us so we'll take some nice flowers to the grave for him and my DFIL lives nearly a 4 hour drive from us so we've sent him nice cards and pressents and we'll ring him tomorrow.

Blacktothepink · 20/06/2021 00:36

We’re in process of moving so going to the dump and lugging furniture about 😂

Grenlei · 20/06/2021 00:45

Nothing different to any other Sunday.

My father died in 1997. My kids don't bother much with their dad, usually they see him at Christmas and birthdays but not even that since Covid. My partner doesn't have children.

So, a normal day of housework and gym for me.

Shergill15 · 20/06/2021 00:46

Having my DF and DM here for lunch. If the rain holds off maybe a walk/sit in the garden. DD's dad lives abroad so she'll video call him later.

BlackeyedSusan · 20/06/2021 00:54

letting ex get on with being a father...

WendyWoofer · 20/06/2021 01:04

Nothing special. My dad died 3 years ago. My kids are old enough to sort their own cards/presents for their dad.

I’ll probably do some housework, make a roast dinner and walk the dogs just like I do every other Sunday.

Eleoura · 20/06/2021 01:06

Gardening if the weather permits. He died when I was 15!

SlateCoaster · 20/06/2021 01:16

It's DH's first fathers day, so he's getting breakfast in bed. If the weather is good, we're taking our DS out for a walk and I'll pack a picnic. If it's raining.. we'll have the picnic on a blanket in the living room.

I have sent my DF a card in the post. He's a two hour drive away. We are visiting next Sunday and taking him for dinner.

HunkyPunk · 20/06/2021 01:17

Will visit parents' grave at some point tomorrow. Hoping the rain keeps away! Ds1 has remembered to send dh a card, bless him. Ds2 and ds3 have organised cards, beer and chocs! We're all going out for lunch to the local Côte at 3.30 (!) as it's the earliest time they had! Was glad to get something, as lots of places were booked up. Left it s bit late, I'm afraid Blush

Pascha · 20/06/2021 01:21

Just s normal sunday with a card and some Toblerone thrown in.

Nicolastuffedone · 20/06/2021 06:22
