When I'm trying to lose a few pounds I just act normally but eat less. I take it as a given that no one's remotely interested in how many calories I'm allowing myself. We had lunch with a couple of friends today and one woman mentioned her diet pretty much every time she spoke! 'Oh are you having chips, I might have to nick a couple, I can't eat a whole portion, how many calories do you think there are in a spoonful of ketchup, hold on I just need to put my starter in myfitnesspal'. I hate it! I've got a history of eating disorders which is very much in the past but I'm never sure if that clouds my judgement . I just find it awkward and embarrassing.
