My almost 2y son was sent to a and e on Wednesday due to mucus and blood in his poo. They couldn't find a reason but didn't do any tests just a physical examination and history. Since Friday morning hes being sick all the time . Its strange as my other 3 haven't got a bug and he doesn't go to a nursery or playgroup. My instincts are telling me there is something wrong with him. Im on hold to 111 just now 22 mins and counting

Hi i hope he is ok. My youngest is 6 now but when he was almost a year he had blood in his poo and also vomiting. We were told by the hospital it was a bug but he had a twisted bowel and ended up being very poorly. What colour is you're sons sick?

Sexnotgender · 19/06/2021 11:23

Is he eating and drinking? Does he have a temperature?

marthastew · 19/06/2021 11:32

Honestly, I would trust your instincts and go back to A&E.

I hope he is on the mend soon.
