Your dream vacation property

I don't know about you, but I love planning trips - even if I know I'll never go there, I like to plan, walk down the streets on google maps, explore little quirky shops, restaurants, best walking routes. I'm always awake one hour before everybody else wakes up so I spend an hour in my dreamland.

London is my favorite city in the world and one day if I save enough I would like to rent a house with a garden for at least two weeks and feel like I live there.

This is my dream property

It is just perfect and when I'm in the bad mood I like to browse the pictures and imagine myself sitting in the garden reading and drinking tea and everything.

What is your dream destination and dream vacation property - come on, give me a little bit of real estate porn with my breakfast.

I’ve just booked a villa in Orlando for next year and while I was looking I came across this one:

www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/19016485?source_impression_id=p3_1624086006_LeRV88oBxioh7JWT&guests=1&adults=1

If I ever won big on the lottery I’d take all my friends and their kids, It’s completely outrageous but the kids would love it - can’t imagine them wanting to go to sleep in those bedrooms though!

Or something like this, because I really miss skiing

My kids (and all their friends would kill for that first house).

I love the second one, that view is amazing. They couldn't drag me from that porch.

Pre covid, I didn't dream, I went

Concert at 02 in London
Stayed on a boat hotel next to the cable car to 02
Perfect location

Weekend away in Dorset
Stayed in a Shepherds hut & saw shooting stars, perfect

Bamboo Lodge in Bali
Looked beautiful
However,
The bathroom had large loose round stones on the floor, that were difficult to walk on & easy to stub a toe. The frog on the wall was real. Only stayed a couple of nights. Next place to stay, we chose one with a flat bathroom floor !

Week before covid
Large hotel in North Thailand, next to the river
Had the place to ourselves
The pool had a view of the river, but the water was freezing !
The river was lovely, lots of wildlife

So many great memories

Slightly different take but a family member has a house in Greece where we've been lucky enough to stay. If I can't sleep, I day dream about how I would decorate and furnish it. Ditto a friend's house in Ireland.

(We were booked to go to both last year, then this year... Sad)

@Littleone638 those themed bedrooms would give my nightmares Grin but the castle is ridiculously fun and would be great for a couple of nights, the pool looks wonderful!
