To be turned off this guy?

Second date with a guy tonight.
We went for food then a crazy golf course.
He won.
He started smirking afterwards.
I asked him what was up and he said he had told his friends he had "ruined" me at golf.
He said they are asking him if he has "ruined" me in the bedroom yet.

This immediately put me off him.
Aibu or would you be a bit put off too?

Horrid. Bin him!

thistimelastweek · 18/06/2021 23:11

I think the crazy golf would have been enough to kill it for me even without the crass talk.

CassandraTrotter · 18/06/2021 23:15

I honestly don't know how he thought that was appropriate to tell me that.
He was testing your boundaries. Such a lack of respect. As you can usually judge a person by the company they keep.

Closetbeanmuncher · 18/06/2021 23:17

Classy 😳

SheepyToaster · 18/06/2021 23:17

@happinessischocolate

Complete and utter turn off.

I've got one too...

First date with a guy last night, we got on well, but I'm not sure if I fancy him, so happy to go on another date to see if he grows on me. He's texted me a lot today but I've been busy at work.

He was talking about a program he's watching and said he's been thinking about me a lot today. I responded about the programme. He then says so have you been thinking about me today. I haven't but I said "maybe 😉" he now responded "lol, your playing hard ball" "bless you"

Urgghh I hate the patronising "bless you", and im currently stopping myself from replying "not playing, just not that into you"

😬

Oh no, cringe Blush
comedycentral · 18/06/2021 23:19

Gross! So glad he showed his true colours so early on!

mrwalkensir · 18/06/2021 23:20

He's more interested in impressing his friends than you. So he's 13? skankyskankyskanky

It was only after I'd hit reply that I realised I'd crossed my legs and had a grimace on my face typing it out 😂

Urgh that’s fucking grim. Yes my fanny would be clamping shut too and I’d be leaving right now.

merryhouse · 18/06/2021 23:32

Quite apart from the eeeeeeeewww

Is it normal among the young people to text one's friends while out on a date?

The incorrect “your” alone would have slammed my legs shut for good. The “bless you” would have sealed the (no) deal.

Total sleaze. Ditch immediately

Yesitsbess · 18/06/2021 23:48

@ClairKingston I didn't want to be accused of hyperbole. But yes, I'm struggling to think of a fanjo ON EARTH that would be even vaguely stimulated by that Grin

Divebar2021 · 18/06/2021 23:51

And they say romance is dead.
