Average number of doorbell rings...?

Just interested to know what's normal/average.
So, your average Friday in June...
So far today, at least 15 for me. Haven't kept a strict count.

Errr... None! Maybe 1 on average for a delivery driver. But we don't have a bell.

Zero. We might have had one or two knocks at the door if there were deliveries, but no deliveries today, so no-one at the door.

I can't imagine having to answer the door 15 times in one day, unless we were hosting a huge gathering (which we never do).

Not necessarily in the right order, but...

• delivery for next door
• delivery for next door the other side
• pick up first delivery
• pick up second delivery
• postman for us
• OH's friend
• Octopus Energy
• child's friend
• child's 2nd friend
• child's 3rd friend
• my child 🤦‍♀️
• parents of a child looking for them
• neighbour wanting to borrow something

So, 13 so far. Feels like a lot more though.

Not one person has knocked on my door this week.

I'm getting so frustrated with it. The dog goes mental every time. I thought I was being unreasonable but maybe I'm not. It's my day off work!!!

We take lots of deliveries for neighbours as my husband works from home and doesn’t mind it.

Our door bell has rung once this week and that was a delivery for someone else.
