In our case it was a toss up between the more normal type of wedding or using the money to help with the deposit on a property to live in.
It is each to his own.

We live in a free country after all, or do we?

I'm not sure what your question is.

If it's 'AIBU to chose my own priorities, then of course not

Have the wedding you can afford and buy the property you can afford. I don’t get your post...

namechange30455 · 17/06/2021 14:28

What?

IggyAce · 17/06/2021 14:29

I’m guessing there’s some kind of back story.

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 17/06/2021 14:29

Have you missed out half of your op?

DanielRicciardosSmile · 17/06/2021 14:30

I feel like the first half of your post is missing.

Moonshine11 · 17/06/2021 14:37

Doesn't make much sense tbh.

User57892 · 17/06/2021 15:26

Has someone said you’re unreasonable?

ghostyslovesheets · 17/06/2021 15:31

this makes no sense

MindTheBumps · 17/06/2021 16:51

What did you go for?

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/06/2021 17:08

Remember a wedding is one day. It’s the marriage what counts

A deposit on house will be forever roof over head

So if you are saying have a smaller wedding day to buy a house the yes for me

ApolloandDaphne · 17/06/2021 17:15

Do what you like.
