I ordered something on the Argos app last week, and for some reason it didn’t go through so while the money left my account, the order did not process.

I have not been refunded so I have tried to contact Argos and I can’t. It’s just an automated line.

How can I get my money back? Im frustrated as it wasn’t a small amount! (Not that that would make it any better!)

Do Argus have a social media presence? Posting on a companies social media can be a good way to get a response.

I don’t really use social media a lot, so this wasn’t my first port of call. This is why I posted here, to ask for suggestions. Please don’t be rude and sarcastic to me.

I wasn't rude - I stated known facts about how to effectively contact major brands.

If you've come on here just to hear people tell you what you claim to already know , then I can't help you!

If the order didn't go through the money will more than likely drop back into your account. That can take up to a week.

Contact your bank, it sounds like the money was ringfenced but if the order wasn’t placed it shouldn’t have been sent to Argos

That’s what I thought heart but it hasn’t and it’s now nearly two weeks.

Just follow @argoshelpers on Twitter (so they can reply to your direct message) and send your complaint with the order number and date etc.......

I don’t have an order no unfortunately as it wasn’t processed so rather frustratingly the money was taken but I didn’t get a confirmation.

Send them an email or live chat, if no response go straight to your credit card company.
