With mask wearing then not wearing one, elbow greetings then cosying up close to watch the red arrows display. Flying in from all over the world for what essentially looks like a big party gathering. And then the American cavalry in itself just to attend church is rediculous! And yet they will be lecturering us on eco emissions!

Why are they flying in, having a huge party when people haven't seen their families abroad for 18 months.

they are working. It keeps the world economy talking and is in no way related to people seeing their families.

I'd guess the mask wearing and elbow bumping is to remind everyone watching that we are not out of the trees yet.

Of course they're taking the piss. And yet here we are, still no end in sight, asking google if we can hug each other yet (according to their TV advert). The audacity of them all is truly something else.

I haven’t seen one mask being worn in any of the photos! The Royals, Bojo and Carrie and all of the other leaders and spouses have been meeting without masks and without any real distancing (unless it’s for an official photo).

It’s not just the covid stuff, it’s the irony and short sightedness of flying in to a conference on climate change on private jets and using huge fleets of Range Rovers and a display by the red arrows (as much as I love the red arrows!). Now, I’m no eco warrior as such, but it just shows how completely self absorbed they are that no ones though, hang on a minute shouldn’t we make this more eco friendly?

I agree op, why can’t they just meet up over zoom like the rest of us have too?

The Red Arrows display during talks on climate change & being more eco friendly was a particular favourite of mine...
