What are the simple things that bring you joy/ satisfaction?

I'll start

The heel/crust of a seeded granary loaf with lots and lots of butter.....

The morning cup of coffee before anyone else wakes up and the house is still....

Another ... Laying in bed, listening to heavy rain pelt the windows.

And also completing the cryptic crossword.

Sitting outside with a cup of coffee on a beautiful morning at 6am before the rest of the world has woken up. Gentle breeze, slightly warm sun, birds tweeting..... Same for sunset in the summer but a glass of wine instead.

Walking into air con when it's 23 degrees plus outside.

Getting home after work after a cold, wet, dark commute in winter and the heating is already on and the smell of dinner cooking.

A long shower when you've been ill in bed for a day or more.

Walking my lovely dog in a new place.

A hot shower.
Clean bed linen.

My first ( and best) cup of tea of the day.
Checking my plants for slug damage in the morning.
Seeing my seeds sprout.
The smell of my tomato plants after watering.
My dog.

When you get a new jar of coffee and you pop the deal with the spoon. I love that.

Warm sun on my skin

DH telling me he loves me every night before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up (we have been married almost 30 years)
