Is this weird?

Boyfriend met a married couple on a walk and got chatting. They invited him back to theirs for coffee. A few days later the wife rings him up and invites herself to his house for coffee and turns up alone...husband at work. Seems strange to me!! What do people think?

Yup, odd as fuck. What would he say if you told him you'd met a couple while out walking, went back to their house then the man called you and invited himself round to your house, where you hosted him in the garden?

I asked him that very question, how wud you feel if I went back to a strange man’s house and he said ‘very jealous.’ It was only a face time conversation last night so I hope to get the full story Friday when I see him.

Did she just turn up or did he invite her alone? Who rang him to arrange the date or did he ring her?
What did she say, when he asked where herher husband was?. How long did she stay and what conversations did she instigate. My gut reaction was that he's being groomed.

We need more info.

Thanks garden4569 and everyone for your input. I’ll find out more details when I see him f2f tomorrow. I know he’s been duped by workmen before so I think he’s a bit gullible and wouldn’t see what’s under his nose. He thinks everyone is his friend. It’s a new relationship so I’m not particularly committed to him.
