Sorry if someone else has already started a post but I couldn’t see one. So he’s pleaded guilty. I just feel so angry about it all over again

Oh I see, they're seemingly going with "unintentional killing", i.e. he takes "responsibility" but doesn't plead to murder.

If that's the case, it's disgraceful and they should have taken it to trial.

Death caused by compression to the neck. Ffs. Another one who will make out he "only" intended to have sex with her (against her will) and it was sex that went wrong.

He'll be found guilty on the murder charge. No way he will get off after admitting raping her and the neck compression thing.

To be fair to him, the report I read suggests he was not asked to make a plea on the murder charge, rather than him refusing to (usually if someone refuses to make a plea they are automatically assumed to mean "not guilty").

I should add, I just mean that's my opinion.

I'm not saying he's guilty before he has been convicted.

It’s just an overwhelmingly sad case.

And it seems so random (in the literal sense) - I just hope the family get an answer as to why he did it, but sadly I doubt they’ll ever get those answers.

Probably. It's sickening to think you own up to murder and rape but you almost get a bloody reward for doing so. He is an evil bastard and a danger to any woman he comes into contact with in the future.
