AIBU to report this?

I'm looking for a bit of perspective and advice.

The area where I live is not the greatest but there is a nice community of people who work hard to keep it as nice as possible and actively report things to the police and council etc

Recently we have seen an increase in drug dealing in the wider area. The people doing it are teenagers and they don't try to hide it but it is happening all the time. They roam the estate as if they own it. I report everything I can to the police.

About two months ago a lady moved into the house on the other side of the road from me. She is a single mother with a couple of children. It is a housing association house which is owned by a big city HA who buys houses in towns outside of that city, so she has moved here from out of area.

Our sofa and window faces their door so we can see what happens if that makes sense. I recently spotted that one of the well known drug dealers did what looked like a 'drop off' at her front door. I tried to ignore it and give her the benefit of the doubt but it has happened again multiple times now and it is really obvious what they are doing and no attempt to conceal it.

My AIBU is should I report this to anyone and if so who? I know that you report drug dealing to the police which I do but can you report if someone is buying drugs or is that pointless? Or could you say 'I know they deliver the drugs to x address' to help with any investigation for the drug dealers?

I know it is not my business what people do in their private time but I'm pissed off that she is bringing these people directly to our street.

[Can I also just add that I have included all information about her for context, incase any of it is relevant, none of it is from a judgemental point of view before anyone says it I am HA myself although a different one from her]

Thank you

Call the non emergency line. Police won’t rush round but they’ll gather it as intelligence so the can eventually round up the main suppliers

The police will be more interested in the dealers and bigger gangs than one person buying I’d have thought but the more info they have the more likely they are to do something in general.

Thank you for your replies I will report and hope it does help them to find the dealers
