Small terraced house - various neighbours over the years both sides - rarely heard any of them. Occasional bang or cheer when sports team won.
New neighbours - I got the banging and drilling when they first moved in but now 5 months down the line - I am done. They can not do anything quietly - front door bangs- they can not come in and shut the door - 3+ times in and out to the car, bang their shoes on the joint wall as they come in. All doors bang.
Drill and sand every bloody day - till late - think 2230, Sundays is their DIY day but then so is every day. To give you an idea - he has just come in and is sanding on our party wall. There can not be any wall left for them to drill - I now have cracks in my plaster on the party wall.
She is cooking in the kitchen - the saucepans are banged, singing very loudly ( she has got a good voice!)

Interestingly never hear the TV but they are just loud from dawn to late at night - I hear all conversations
