Overhanging/blocking my driveway

So I wanted to go somewhere, only to find a car overhanging my driveway enough that I cant take my car out. Whats worse, this car usually does this once a week or so for around 10 minutes.

I havent said anything before, as I havent needed to take my car out at the same time before. Today I did, so when the driver came back to her car I told her not to block my drive, as obviously she shouldnt be parking over a dropped kerb.

But the worst thing is, theres always space behind her car. So she can park and reverse it, and not block my drive. But instead she is just lazy and/or in a rush to pick up her child.

Her response - Im going now / im only picking someone up.

How would you all have reacted and/or should I have handled it any different?

So on the school run when I did it. Some woman did this but properly covered someone’s drive. During the time she dropped her child off there was a fire emergency. The ambulance and fire services just plowed into her car so they could get to the house.

Best thing I ever saw. But oh my god. It caused a massive ruckus. I tried to run and get to her. But I wasn’t quick enough.

She shouldn’t of done so. People forget that in that 15 mins there could be an emergency in which people need to get there. It’s frightening.
