To be pissed off with the adverts on here?

Every time i read a thread i scroll through and my thumb knocks the bloody adverts and it takes me to a website!!!!!!!
I get this is a first world problem but it's getting on my sodding nerves!!!

Same. I've found them utterly intrusive in the last couple of weeks.

I've even noticed them sticking over peoples posts including my own, often if I come back to a thread I've bookmarked.

I suspect MN want us to pay to be ad free.

Would be nice if I didnt get a message on my phone constantly saying popup blocked. It only happens on mn.

The one that really annoyed me was the Soreen fruit bar ones. It seemed like I only had to look at the and for it to open up a in new page. Luckily I could calm my irritation by vowing never, ever to buy one of the annoying things.

Ive got no issues with the ads in itself, I do have issue with an ad weirdly covering up posts I'm reading and constantly redirecting me... even a 'are you sure you want to leave the page ' notif would be mildly less annoying.

Posted too soon, sorry. Gynaecology clinics like speculae and lubricating gel from the Comfi range. I used to be a general practice nurse but the Practice ordered them in, not me individually so unless someone has a weird fetish then it seems most odd. Men's continence products too. Is it a hint to go back to nursing perhaps?

Hahah! I've noticed the same - thought it was my sausage fingers! Have dozens of open pages on my phone for cruises at the end of each day. But the site is free and I enjoy spending way too much time here so I'm fairly meh about it

Yes the chocolate biscuits ad was highly annoying considering I was on the weight loss page!

Its annoying. But you can't run a website on fresh air. Other sites are far worse
