To feel so nervous?! (Lighthearted - kind of ๐Ÿ˜…)

DH has planned a trip as a surprise for my birthday ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜… Lovely idea - he knows Iโ€™ve been desperate just to get away from the house having spent a whole pregnancy and most of Mat leave in some kind of lockdown.

My issue is, itโ€™s usually me who plans our trips because DH is honestly TERRIBLE at it ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜… he tries... really he does...puts in a lot of thought and effort to location, activities, etc but it never seems to work out. He always manages to book an accommodation that isnโ€™t suitable (last time we turned up to a โ€œself cateringโ€ place heโ€™d booked having stopped on the way to buy a pretty luxurious food shop for the week to treat ourselves. Turned up to a gorgeous self contained suite in the grounds of a large hotel with a lounge, bedroom, bathroom etc...NO kitchen ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿคฃ it wasnโ€™t SC at all! Weโ€™d driven 4h and were there for the week ๐Ÿ™ˆ) or double book activities or whatever, or not allow enough time for travel etc ๐Ÿ˜… hes always so gutted with himself when something goes wrong but usually itโ€™s just him and I and these things donโ€™t matter - usually Iโ€™ll have a laugh about it and just enjoy our trip. We do always end up having a lovely time.
This will be our first trip with DS though ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜… DH tells me just to relax and pack for Thurs-Mon for me and 7m old DS and he has everything else under control ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ

Would you be nervous too?! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜… Anyone got any pointers for first trip away with baby?
