Paranoid or stupid?

Can't decide if I'm being unnecessarily paranoid or if I should phone NHS24.

I got my 2nd Astra Zeneca vaccine (I'm 28) and I've had a splitting headache for the whole day and the pain has now travelled down my neck, into my right shoulder and half way down my arm.

I'm 100% all for the vaccines, though aware I shouldn't have gotten AZ.

Not sure, am I being paranoid?

Call. Better to get checked than not.

I would call

The leaflet said to expect a headache, muscle and joint pains.
But if you are worried there's no harm ringing for advice .

I would call or go in. You won't regret it and they will be nice about it because some people don't have a good outcome. Even if it's rare it doesn't mean it can't happen to you. Best case outcome you get sent home feeling sheepish but better.

Definitely call!

I'm a nurse - we would always prefer for patients to present early with a concern , than later and be unwell
It's most likely a natural reaction and by the way nothing wrong with AZ but if you are worried then please call and let's give you some reassurance...

They told me a headache is only a concern if it doesn't go away after taking paracetamol. I felt like I had a huge weight pressing down on my head but paracetamol eased it.
