Long protracted journey home for my 17 year old!! Flying from somewhere with négligeable covid risk into 1 airport then supposed to stay with my Mum. plan was Stansted or City can’t get flights to them unless you start looking at 30 hours transfers and an overnight in Vilnius or Gdansk. Tried Scotland but didn’t work (think it was price and availability) so opted for Heathrow plan was to stay with a sister but she is having surgery in a week so that’s a no, so now staying with my other sister who is unhappy because they are mixing flights at Heathrow. Has anyone come through there in the last few days who can tell me just how bad this really is? I see they plan on opening a dedicated red flight section of the airport tomorrow???
