Do you always go out at weekends?

Normal life, not Covid lockdowns? I always used to want to have a day out every weekend, since Covid hit I seem to have lost all enthusiasm or motivation to go anywhere? This weekend has been a bit boring and I hate bank holidays ! My teen dd and i popped out and had lunch in a cafe then went to visit my Nan's grave, that was all.

I guess with little kids there is so much to do but it can be so dull att weekends????

I try to every weekend. I have a young baby and we both get a bit stir crazy stuck in the house. Before I had him though I loved a weekend at home.

Most weekends we do. I went to the theatre yesterday for the first time since before the first lockdown!

I used to when dds were younger but now they're grown up & doing their own thing, I find I'm just as happy to stay at home, do the garden, read, TV etc etc. If DH is off at the weekend we do more but I've always been quite happy in my own company really.

Depends what you mean by going out.
We often go for a walk locally in the woods or up the hill or round the docks, or have a beer in a pub garden, or go shopping, but don't do "days out" all that much.
It is also nice to just read a book in the garden.

Im starting to like catching up more with my tv programmes, pottering in the garden ( I sound like my mum saying that).....................

Our weekdays and weekends are quite full on with extra curricular activities. So today when we had no activities we were quite happy to stay at home. My kids would be happy to stay in their rooms on screens every free day unless I make them go and do stuff.

Does walking the dog count? 😁 Otherwise no, some weekends I stay in, potter in the garden, read, play the guitar... happy just to relax!

Yes, we go out every weekend. Single parent of DS who is nearly 8. Sometimes we go out for a meal on a Friday night, then we have a day out on Saturdays. What we do is weather dependent but things like bowling, cinema, crazy golf, park with friends, visiting family or a day trip out somewhere like the zoo, theme park etc. Then on Sundays I take DS to his hobbies (swimming and horse riding) and we have a drink and cake in the cafe after.

If DS is at his dad's I go out with friends, that was the case this weekend. I went out for dinner last night and brunch today.

We are extroverts and like a busy life, I'm not one for sitting at home. Pottering in the garden is not my idea of fun.

Not if I can help it! After a week at work, I'm all peopled out and quite happy to potter at home. DP works shifts, including weekends and DS is 16 so makes his own plans. We might go out for lunch tomorrow as it's bank holiday though.
