I didn't notice that the bottle said 'new and improved fragrance". It's gone from a fresh, slightly piney scent to a cheap, sweet, fruity scent. I HATE food-scented cleaning products and I loved the old Fairy liquid scent. Ugh. Why do they make these pointless changes that no one asks for???

Yes, I agree it's very annoying. I'm still sad about the Pears soap formula changing and that was years ago!

No-one, absolutely no-one wanted the Fairy scent to change. However, I suspect it's been driven by something else, an ingredient has been discontinued or banned probably.

My friend is a chemical engineer for P&G. The price of lemons has pushed this change. More money in their pocket innit.

Yep I hated it when I started the new bottle, but don’t notice it now about a month later.

Does it still clean dishes? As long as the smell was unpleasant I wouldn't care.

I mean I guess it does clean fine? I've only done the dinner plates and cutlery so far, no crystal or baking dishes, so who knows? It definitely smells unpleasant to me, in any case.

WHAT! I just finished my last bottle. If I'd have known I would have savoured that last wash more!
