Why were you out of bed so early? Grin

EmeraldShamrock · 27/05/2021 15:22

Is it broken. 🤔

Dollygirl2008 · 27/05/2021 15:31

I wish it were broken but it's true!!! My daughter has to catch her school bus early - that the only reason I was up!

Oh well - I'll probably manage a few more steps to the tea room and then to my car so who knows - I might make 1000 today Wink

Mine often looks like that, it's a perk (or drawback depending which way you look at it!) of working from home.

Just up your steps when you get the opportunity to and it all evens itself out it the end.

YANBU

I proudly achieved 72 steps one day during severe restrictions. Grin

Dollygirl2008 · 27/05/2021 17:09

Haha phew I'm up to 897

At least you're consistent with last year 😃

Babbly · 27/05/2021 17:28

Jesus! I'm on double that and I'm in bed with flu and only been going to the bathroom.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 27/05/2021 17:30

Since I've been working from home and stopped 'going out for fecking walks', I've been the same. It's quite shocking - bed, to fridge, to study, to loo and repeat.

I need to start the 'fecking walks' again I think.

Winederlust · 27/05/2021 17:33

Wow i usually manage about 1000 by lunchtime just going to the toilet and downstairs to make a brew! Are you working on the loo with a teasmaid next to you? Grin

LindaEllen · 27/05/2021 17:38

Similar to mine if I'm working (I've always WFH). I only ever get more at weekend.

EmeraldShamrock · 27/05/2021 17:49

I usually do 6000 if at home for the day, I pass the 10,000 3 out 7 every week.

Fuzzyspringroll · 27/05/2021 17:52

Wow...I get to 800 just by getting up at the weekend, making breakfast and having a shower.

BackforGood · 27/05/2021 17:54

I think that is pretty normal for a wfh day, if I don't specifically go out for a walk.

Treacletreacle · 27/05/2021 17:55

I was super proud of my step counter until I realised it was recording steps when I was driving doing the school run....so I wasn't walking as much as I had thought 🤔🤣

Dollygirl2008 · 27/05/2021 18:19

I'm not even WFH today!!!! Mind you - I parked practically outside the office.

Oh well, I've just been for a swim so I don't feel TOO bad...

Mines 17,527 at the moment. I'm bloody knackered though & wish I could have yours instead!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 27/05/2021 18:25

I went for a bike ride yesterday and mine basically claimed I say around for that half hour. I was cycling at 8yo pace...

Yes, I record more steps going by car than I would walking there. I work from home just now in my kitchen, just round the corner from the downstairs loo. My daily step count is usually only 100+. I've hidden it Blush

The shits are indeed a terrible thing, but at least get your steps up
