New Bugaboos on eBay

I'm looking for a second hand Bugaboo Fox or Cameleon 3 on eBay and am staggered at the number of brand new ones, even Fox 2s, for sale, and the sheer number of these buggies certain sellers have available.

AIBU to assume they are mostly - if not all - counterfeit?

I’ve never heard of a counterfeit pram, they could be stolen or from shops that have closed down.

I noticed this... I’d like a Fox 2 too! I can’t work it out so I think we’ll probably go legit and buy from a shop...

I’ve never thought of it though I’m wondering that now that you mention it as I’ve also been looking at prams on eBay.

There used to be scammers on there or yes counterfeit ones.

I’ve seen counterfeits of baby carriers like Ergobaby and Baby Bjorn, so counterfeit prams don’t seem like that much of a stretch!

Bugaboo warn about counterfeit prams on their website so it's definitely a thing, and I'm sure on years ages ago someone was worried their eBay buggy was a fake.

I guess it's not worth the risk is it? Plus if you buy from eBay you don't have a guarantee or any kind of comeback should it break later on. Fine for second hand but not for brand new!
