Bloody hell, I thought Diana was bad enough, but what else is under the Martin Bashir rock?

The mother of a murdered girl wants the BBC to investigate the way she was treated by journalist Martin Bashir.

Michelle Hadaway gave Mr Bashir items of her daughter's clothing for DNA testing in 1991, but said no tests were done and the clothes were not returned.

Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows, both nine, were murdered by Russell Bishop in 1986, in a case that became known as the Babes in the Wood murders.

i haven't heard about this, if thats true that is disgusting. those families have been to hell and back, the murderers GF has just been found guilty of perjury. thanks to her lies Bishop was free to abduct and nearly murder a I think 7 year old girl.

I read that Martin Bashir has been accused of losing the items of clothing he was given. Why would they have been given to him? Seems odd - surely the police would have wanted them?! Such an awful awful story :(

That's why she gave them to him.

How awful. Reading the interview with Martin Bashir was infuriating. He didn't apologise at all for what he did to Diana. Does he really think she would have been his friend if she knew he doctored those papers?
