So basically me and DH don't agree on our next move and I could do with an outside perspective
The current situation is we currently live in a new build propery , nice estate the house is small and we do need more room so will eventually move , it's only me DH and DD do we could make do with the space for more years to come
My issue is that DD now 2 will need her primary school.place applied for in September next year, I'm terrified if we stay where we are she will end up at our local primary which is situated in the middle of the worse council estate in our town please don't think bad of me for saying that but it really is shocking , the parents all got sent a letter last week asking parents not to send the kids in smelling of weed , there is a high crime rate in the area and of stead calls the school a beacon of hope for the local.community 😒 its got a shocking reputation also
I want to put our house up for sale June next year this is the earliest we could move financially we have some equity in our property and are currently saving
We could at this point afford 20.per cent deposit on a 180k house which for the area we live in would get a nice property (working class northen Town)
Dh wants to wait 3 years to move as we would have a bigger deposit , smaller.mortage and better propery
He said that I'm being judgemental and that kids are kids and should all.play together equally and i shouldn't judge , my husband said the local area has no impact on what goes on in the class room and she would be fine at that school
I know it's not 100 per cent she would go that school, obviously u wouldn't even include it in my choices but it's our catchment area and I wouldn't forgive myself if she had to go
It's ofstead rated good school by the way
