Today I did something embarrassing and I can't tell anyone in real life so here we are. My old house is two miles away from my office for the last year that house has been my office, home and stronghold. We have been moving for the last few weeks and I have also been transporting my son on a daily basis to school in that area. Ive been working more from the office recently but have gone back to the house to clean up or load up when needed. I picked up soare keys from my cat sitting neighbours this morning.
This morning I was desperate for the loo after dropping my son off at school and again he needed to go just as we were passing so we popped in to use the facilities before heading to the motorway.
It only dawned on me that the house completed last Friday and is no longer mine. I have weed in some one else's loo illegally not once but twice and have made my son accessory to illegal pissing.
I totally forgot that I wasn't supposed to go in anymore. The keys are now through the letter bix so I don't try it again.

Hahahaha love it!

We once lived close to a motorway and became a pseudo motorway services for our many friends and family travelling past. Perhaps your purchasers would like to take on a similar mantle and include you in their welcome friends at their handy pee-point?

Hahahah wow. Talk about auto pilot! Bet your stomach flipped when you realised. How lucky that the new owners went in!!

They were buying to gut the place then their daughter is moving in so luckily nobody was living there yet. Its all totally empty or I think I might have noticed😁

How on earth do you forget you sold your house? Did the handing over of your keys to the new owners and the need to obtain spares to get in not jog your memory Confused

Bordois · 25/05/2021 10:10

Also, where were you going after picking your son up so you just happened to be passing the house you thought you still owned?

Moonshine11 · 25/05/2021 10:11

😂😂😂😂

Oh yes I shit you not. We have been moving out slowly over the lastvtwo weeks and ive been picking up mail and cleaning it and getting out the last few bits and pieces. My son's school is a couple of roads away from the school so yes we do pass it in the way home to the new house. I just got into a routine of stopping by each day and sorting a few bits out so it wasn't so out of the ordinary.
Just totally forgot and had picked up the spare keys from the cat sitting neighbour to pass to the new owner. I was on auto pilot

Luckily my son starts his new school out of the area next week. Although ill still have to go back to our old town for work I won't need to pass through our old village so I won't be tempted.

Ha ha I did similar when we moved. We were late out and halfway to the new house I realised I’d forgotten to do the meter readings or leave the spare keys. When I got back I was relieved to see the new owners weren’t there yet so let myself in the back door, read the meters and had a quick wee. Just as I was going through the kitchen and out the back door I heard a key in the front door 😂. Never moved so fast, dropped the keys on the counter and legged it up the garden and out the back gate!

Pity it wasn't alarmed, you wouldn't have "forgotten " twice.
