To reschedule jab or to go?

I have my jab quite early in the morning tomorrow. Unfortunately over the weekend I’ve come down with what is probably laryngitis, as I have a bit of a sore throat, a catarrah-y cough, and absolutely no voice (DH is pretending to be thrilled about that bit Hmm). I don’t think it can be covid, as I had it last year and it didn’t feel anything like this, plus I have no temperature, I can still smell, and the cough isn’t persistent/dry, it’s just clearing catarrah. I do feel tired and achy.

Should I go? Or see if I can postpone? I really don’t want to be waiting any longer, and they wouldn’t fill the slot now. But I also don’t want to go and risk making anyone else sick, or be dealing with the aftermath at the same time as being under the weather anyway.

Does anyone know what the best thing to do would be? Thank you!

I think you need to postpone sadly, and should get a covid test too and isolate until you get the results. A total bugger I know, but better than risking infecting anyone

If you feel you are becoming more poorly, and you could possibly be starting with an infection, don’t go.

Thanks so much both. As it happened, I woke up feeling much much better, so I went but checked with the nurse when I got there; she said it was fine. So I’m all done (for 12 weeks anyway) Smile
