Hi all, Dd turns 6 in early July and is desperate for a birthday party with friends. She's had little tea parties with family but not with her friends.
I mean if all restrictions do get lifted on June 21st we can - but will they? There's a really small gap between the 21st and her birthday. I don't want to get her hopes up.
I guess as it stands we could have a party outside but we cannot guarantee the weather. I would rather do something instead because of the weather.
What shall I do or say?
I've told her that we might or might not be able to have a party but her birthday will be special regardless! Last year she had a fab time with presents, cake and a small amount of family! I told her we could go to the zoo or something.
Wwyd?
Also, one of her friends has organised a party for next week. But I feel it's too soon. It'll be outside but the whole class is invited so that's 30 kids (all in same class) but plus their parents, plus siblings, plus the birthday kids siblings. I feel it's too soon and they live round the corner and their garden is tiny as similar to ours. . But Dd is adamant she's going though... we pay just pop by for a short time and show our faces.
