To think he should be concerned about this?

DP got diagnosed with RA last year. Joining a long list of people in my family with autoimmune issues. He has had regular blood tests since September last year. Was told his white cells were slightly out of range in December but then heard all was normal. Last week he spoke to the nurse and again, she said all was OK with his bloods.
Today, he got his write up and his platelets are 460. This is not normal. Yet he is not concerned. I shouldn't have googled but none of it sounds good. I am really worried his team of doctors have overlooked it and that he is not realising this may be very serious. He just thinks it is down to the steroids he is still on yet I do not believe so. Aibu to say he needs to take this more seriously?

Under Health topic there is an autoimmune section, or other sections
I really think this better belongs in there other than AIBU

Whoops it posted early...
Your DP has a medical team who can interpret his results far better than anyone here.
AIBU will not be your friend on this site, but you might find a few people going through RA - ? rheumatoid arthritis - who can chat about their experience with you.
