I'm seeing an increasing number of posts on FB in local groups about how "they" (presumably the Government) are deliberately fear mongering around Covid and making up variants to keep us all indoors.
Lots of talk about how the death toll hasn't really risen and that the statistics are being manipulated.
Quite a lot of people have suggested its to force everyone into having a vaccine passport, which will make everyone more easily tracked and will be a "data grab".
Maybe I'm too naive, but I personally don't care if the government knows where I am, and I can't see any danger in having my data in a government system.
For those of you who believe that Covid is a scam, or that the Government are dragging it out or something similar - could you explain what the motivation actually is?
All I see is the Government failing at protecting people and organising themselves and others. The Government have absolutely come out of this worse than before, I just can't see where the benefit is?
