To ask if anyone lives in/near Copthorne and can advise on what its like to live there?

Sorry am probably posting in the wrong place but please can I ask if anyone has any experience/advice re living in Copthorne, West Sussex? Considering a move there so any info re what its like/areas to avoid would be great. Thanks in advance! x

Don't plan on ever being able to drive anywhere unless it's between 10.30am and 2pm or 8pm and 5am and it isn't raining, cold, a bit windy, the schools are off, it's a weekend or it's a nice, bright, sunny day. The traffic is awful.

Oh no, that's annoying! Is there a particular part of Copthorne that is bad for traffic?

All of it is bad for traffic, and you get a lot of aircraft noise from Gatwick.

You could look at Crawley down, nearby, less traffic? The aeroplane noise around that isn't as bad as horley/small field direction and you won't notice it after a couple of months, unless its a particularly calm day and you're outside
