AIBU to feel anxious

I know this probably sounds really silly but I feel anxious all the time at work which I have recently returned too after an illness. At the moment our workload has increased and two staff left recently so we have two new trainees.
The other two regular staff who I work with are constantly talking about how bad things are at work and how they are just applying for any job so they can get out of there.
I feel so anxious that I am going to be working with 4 trainees. I don't know why I am worrying so much about it. I feel like I have lost all my confidence and the anxiety I feel is making me feel worse.

OP, you're getting ahead of yourself a bit. You're not yet working with 4 trainees. Your other colleagues probably won't get new jobs overnight.

Have you seen a change in the workplace since you returned? Do you feel you want a new job to? Do you have support from management?

@Lizzie523 I know thats why I feel so silly that I'm jumping ahead but I just can't help it.

My workplace is a lot busier since I have returned. I like my job and the hours are fairly good, I'm still trying to build myself back up to my regular hours and that worries me with getting a new job as I need to try and get control of my health first and see what I can and can't do.
No support from management at all, I think it has made the return so much more difficult.

I think it is understandable to have anxiety after returning form an illness and with no support from management that will make your anxiety worse.
Just take it one day at a time OP and try not to think too far ahead.
