I've name changed for this as I've a other two ongoing
Posts .My bf of a year has 1k+ fb friends as he plays a game on there that has millions registered . On his personal
Posts, he has approx 50 regulars friends that he communicates with.
His profile has just shown a profile of a girl who, in a South American language is inviting the reader to click on a link to see sexy pics . This is new . There is no info about the girl or previous posts or likes on her posts. What am I looking at ? A cam
Girl or what? I am not au fair with fb bar having only close friends on my own profile .I dont have An issue with him looking at porn as a rule as I like it too but have not come
Across this type of profile before . Thanks

I've just seen an article
In sextortion. The profile has little to no information on it , I expect it is a fake account or a type of sextortion thing. Does anyone have any experience and is it possible or to be added as a friend
Without being requested first ? Aibu to think that this is a fake scam
Or have I more to worry about ?

I mean you could just ask your bf?

CrumpetHunter · 18/05/2021 21:49

It's a fake Facebook profile. It's a scam. Either it's a genuine account that's been hacked/corrupted or it's an invented account. I don't see why it's concerning you at all?!

milkofmag · 18/05/2021 22:32

Thanks

What do you mean by his profile? His friends list? commenting on one of his posts? I've had a few random women who have replied to some of my posts looking for sexy times. Not sure why they think I would be interested.

milkofmag · 18/05/2021 22:54

His friends list . It looks like she / the profile is linked to a mutual video game they both play but it certainly looks like a fake account .
Wondered why it was in his friends list .

If you mean in his messages it’s nearly certainly a fake profile, they try to add me on Instagram relatively often. It’s just a robot and nothing to be worried about

seadreams · 18/05/2021 23:11

Oh ignore me, but I’d still be 90% sure it’s a fake profile. I can’t imagine using internet games to get customers would be the best use of a cam girls time.

milkofmag · 19/05/2021 09:24

She is a friend on his Facebook. Nothing to show on profile just an invitation to see some
Sexy pics/ videos. All of her friends are also offering sexy pics/ chat. She has no likes or comments on her profile
Pics . It seems she is connected to a global video game .

OP posts:
HilaryBriss · 19/05/2021 09:46

He probably accepted a friend request from her as he thought she was connected to the game he plays.

Bourbonic · 19/05/2021 10:36

Firstly, it sounds like a phishing bot, designed to divert traffic to a site.

Secondly, why are you tracking and monitoring your boyfriend's friend list on social media?

milkofmag · 19/05/2021 10:40

She came up as a suggested friend so I clicked on her profile . I don't see an issue with that . Thanks

It's just a spammer.

🙄 jesus christ.

What's it got to do with you?
milkofmag · 19/05/2021 10:48

I don't understand Facebook. I don't understand how computers work that's why I asked . I am not one of the cool girls who is happy that her boyfriend adds a girl who is offering sex talk and videos . I would have an issue with that. Am I controlling ..Confused

If he has 1k+ friends, he’s probably getting a couple of friend requests a day.

Chances are, he blindly clicked accept to all of them without looking at their profiles.

Spam profiles like this are really common, and often are just bots (not real people, they just automatically message people when they accept friend requests, encouraging them to look at their sexy website, which ends up being virus ridden or an attempt to get credit card detail)

If your husband has that many friends on Facebook and you’re going to vet their profile and get paranoid, you’re just signing yourself up for a bad time.

milkofmag · 19/05/2021 12:00

Thanks for explaining . I don't know anything
About bots or scams. I'm
Ignorant when it comes to this so when I saw a 20 year old topless model friend suggestion, I was naturally a bit Hmm

OP posts:
CorianderBee · 19/05/2021 22:54

It's a scam... he's probably clicked on something or accidentally accepted a request thinking it's another gamer.

She's just a fake phishing account used to scam people. Happens all the time. Don't worry.
