My father who's in his 70's who has Rheumatoid Arthritis and who has good and bad days with his hands?

I think he wants something with big buttons and big writing so he can see it, and it would be handy if it was a more 'up to date phone'!

He does have a computer etc but I think the phone sometimes really bugs him. He also struggles with swiping to answer calls.

Any help would be appreciated!
I've found one on Amazon but it's an old school Nokia type.

If he wants modern are you sure he doesn't want a touchscreen? This brand Doro seem to advertise as being "senior friendly" so to speak.
My dm with arthritic hands used a smartphone with a larger screen so do I as I can't read a small one

My dad had a Doro 8050 touchscreen. It is easy to use and you can set quick access buttons for regular numbers, there is an SOS function in case he has a fall and seems fairly foolproof!

Ooooh that sounds like a contender! I'm going to check it out now. Thank you so much! I'd really love to get him something he's comfortable using.

When looking for one for my mum 3 or 4 years ago the Age Concern0 website had some good advice about phones to consider, so may be worth a look.

I've got both my parents Doro phones for exactly the same reason, unable to swipe to answer a smartphone. They both get on well with them

Thank you all :)
