To want it to stop raining (lighthearted)

Does anyone else feel like the winter is never ever going to end?

We can legally do some stuff now but it literally hasn’t stopped raining for what feels like weeks and it’s really cold.

It’s southern England, it’s the second half of May. Aibu to expect some nice weather by now?

Fed up of wearing jeans and jumpers and want to wear my summer dresses.

Just looked at the weather forecast. Thursday looks dry, but still overcast. The first sunny day isn’t until next Tuesday.

Honestly it's doing my head in. I'm so bored of it being cold and wet ALL THE TIME. I need to cut the grass in the garden but it's ALWAYS raining. Urgh.

It's not rained for days up here! We had a few spots this afternoon but it didn't even wet the path.

2 weeks ago it snowed.
We may as well just get on with Christmas.

YANBU. It's been soggy as anything here. I feel sorry for our builders wading about in mud trying to dig foundations for our extension.

I desperately need to strim the allotment but it rains every fucking day.
