To think there should be a separate phone line for people booking Covid vaccines

Haven’t been able to get even in the queue for my doctors surgery for two days despite being asked to book a blood test plus I would ask like to ask them something. I would imagine the phone lines are busy due to people booking Covid vaccines. While I know Covid is a real health threat other health issues aren’t getting the needed treatment.

Yes I agree this would help matters for those not able to book online.

Are you sure they don't have a separate phone-line? Around here ours do, or they have an online system to book.

Can you do an e-consult and ask for a call back?

You imagine. You don't know. They could, like most surgeries, have an inadequate number of phone lines to keep overheads down

We don’t book our vaccine at the Drs at all. Are you sure that’s why they’re busy? Have you tried emailing them? I booked an appointment online in the morning and at around 2pm that day the Dr rang me.

Our surgery ask people to call to book.

I don’t think it’s likely to be people booking Covid vaccines, usually they call you or you book with a centre.
