Essential tremor?

I have a blood test booked (18th June!!) But I'm just wondering if anyone could offer any insight.

I'm 38 and recently I've had a twitching in my thumbs, forefingers and middle fingers but only when I'm bending them or on my phone, holding a spoon etc.

Doc suggests it could be an essential tremor but AIBU to think that this coukd be down to low iron or b12.

I was very anaemic during my pregnancy and lost a lot of blood after my emergency c section. When I came out of hospital my skin on face was tinged yellow. Baby is now 1 and I've not been treated with iron tablets since pregnancy.

My mother had an essential tremor and I know it can be hereditary in 50% of the cases. I'm just hoping its not, it's making me so sad to think I won't have control of my body one day
