Water droplets, I'm losing my mind

A few days ago I noticed a little pool of water on the floor underneath my sons highchair, assumed he'd just dropped his drink, cleaned it up, no big deal, although it puzzled me that it didn't smell like juice and appeared to be just water.

Just gave my son his breakfast and a drink, which after he finished was put on the table, he didn't play with his cup or shake it at all, after I took them into the kitchen and came back to the table, there's several water droplets on the dining table and one of the chairs. I'm 99% sure they weren't there seconds before and again they seemed like just water, not juice that my son had to drink.

There's no leak in the ceiling above, there isn't even a pipe above where the drops have been, the ceiling is completely dry and I can't for the life of me figure out where this water is coming from, it's driving me mad.
A quick Google search suggests ghosts trying to communicate but this seems ridiculous.

Has anyone else had this experience or has any suggestions? I'm slightly obsessing over it because water doesn't just appear out of nowhere, it has to be coming from somewhere!

Have you washed the high chair down or sprayed it with antibac? If some liquid has got into the joints or a crevice under the tray, etc, then the force of putting the tray on would be enough to make drops spray out onto the tray or drip onto the floor. Even more likely if you have a folding high chair so the parts or in different positions folded and in use (sorry I’m ancient with no kids so I don’t know what modern high chairs are like!)

(You might tell from my answer that I don’t believe there are ghosts, and if there were, they’d be able to communicate more usefully with us, like write us a note, if they’re able to make water magically appear)

@MrsTulipTattsyrup not sprayed or wiped with anything, tray wasn't removed and it's not a folding highchair. It's really baffling me, the common sense side of me is telling me that my son probably just dribbled while I wasn't looking or maybe there's a leak in his drinks cup, I'm going to fill it up again and see if that's what's causing it. There's almost certainly a simple explanation, I just don't know what it is yet, if ghosts do exist, I'd rather they just say hello or use the chalk board we have instead of leaving puddles around the dining room
