Many graduate positions are allocated in advance as the student has undertaken an internship with their preferred organisation during their penultimate year.

Depends on the company. We have a graduate placement scheme and we recruit from uni, we don’t do placement years so everyone is equal.

Are you the spokesperson from the University of the Bleeding Obvious??

What’s your point? This is how I got my first job in 1992. It’s hardly news

Lottielovescake · 14/05/2021 22:09

What’s the AIBU?

JustMomx · 14/05/2021 22:11

What's your point, or question? Take it you didn't learn to debate at school.

Our grads are taken on finishing their degrees, about 20% ore Covid were apprentices which has stalled but will come back back again as we rto.

Dishwashersaurous · 14/05/2021 22:14

Err. What's the question?

RickiTarr · 14/05/2021 22:15

You said it.

Twizbe · 14/05/2021 22:20

I've worked in grad recruitment for many many years in various organisations.

In general there are more graduate positions that internship positions.

Interns are usually guaranteed an interview but not a job. I've known a fair few who really fucked up their internships and didn't get made full time offers.

Some interns hate their internships and don't accept offers made to them.

DelBocaVista · 14/05/2021 22:20

What is the question?

SchrodingersImmigrant · 14/05/2021 22:21

Ok. Is it a one person with all these odd threads with basically no info or is it a coincidence there is an influx of posters not being into a discussion on a discussion forum?
