To think fully coated digestives are overpriced?

Looked for them for DS. £1.80 for SIX biscuits. In a wasteful plastic tray as well. AIBU to think this is ridiculous?

YANBU for thinking that price is ridiculous
YABU for mentioning the wretched things as I'm sick of the bloody advert being on every thread I read!!

littlepattilou · 14/05/2021 21:06

That's a LOT for 6 biscuits! YANBU!

Buffaloskull · 14/05/2021 21:14

Give it a few weeks and they'll be in home bargains for 99p

minipie · 14/05/2021 21:19

Ohhhh are those the ones popping up on every thread I read (the ad that is?)

Bastard things giving me the munchies

22Giraffes · 14/05/2021 21:19

How do you eat then without major chocolate hands? And YANBU, that's a ridiculous price!

kowari · 14/05/2021 22:08

Yep, the ones on the ad. I might have bought them for half the price. The packaging annoyed me, you pick them up and realise there's hardly any in the packet, I guess to stop them sticking together. Was questioned by DS why I didn't just come home with ANY digestives!

I wish they would stop putting biscuits that don't need it on plastic trays. Also Cadbury fingers could halve the size of the cardboard box. I pack them into the tiniest Tupperware when I open the packet.

milinhas · 14/05/2021 22:52

Agreed, twice the price of normal chocolate digestives (which are always on sale) I also bought them because of the advert Blush

Will not be buying again!
