Apologies (it is the Daily Fail). I haven't even read the story yet but I can't quite believe they have sunk this low when someone is grieving... the headline is a disgrace!

@drpet49 as much as I like to say MM is being treated differently than Adele in this story it’s a totally different situation as Adele’s dad had pretty much nothing to do with her growing up. MM dad seems to have been very involved.

Well I read the article after clicking it above and it seems to be very blame focused on her father.

Well no, Adele cut contact with her father when she was 11 and has seen him once since then at her grandmother's funeral. He has since happened to sell her out to the papers but that isn't why he was cut off.

MM father was very much a part of her upbringing and it is only recently he has been cut off.

The two situations are completely different.

That writer has won awards for writing bitchy articles. She describes herself as a feminist but is extremely misogynistic and unsisterly in her writing.

@Fatladyslim it doesn't matter who saw how much of their fathers, both men sold stories to the papers about their daughters and got cut off for it. That's not 'completely different' .
