Hi everyone,

As someone of Palestinian heritage I found the removal of the other thread to be troubling.

So I would like to please ask the posters to not respond to any trolls trying to divert the issue into something political resulting in removal of the thread. Don’t feed the trolls.

The question was about, what are good resources to read about the conflict in order to gain more understanding.

Any discussions on the existence or non existence of Palestine isn’t worth a debate. I give you permission to not defend my right to existence but I ask of you to please do protect the thread in order for it to be a platform for those seeking legitimate sources of information.

Hi OP, AIBU isn't really the best place for nuanced debate and a genuine discussion; as you know, things get heated and unconstructive pretty quickly! You might be better off asking MNHQ to move your thread to a more serious topic (e.g. Petitions and Activism).
