To ask if I can access my health records with out of date ID

I want to see some of my old notes but also currently making a complaint and I feel something in my recent notes maybe able to help with that. My passport is out of of date will I still be able to access them?

I know that for ID purposes, you can use your passport for six months after it’s expired, but I don’t know if that applies to accessing your medical records.

Have you got a photocard driving licence?

Ask the Trust what their policy is - not everyone drives or has a passport, there will be alternative procedures in place.

No unfortunately I don’t drive so that’s my only form of id. I don’t drink alcohol so ID hasn’t been that important to me.
