Struggling to accept inheritance

Its not really an AIBU but here goes.

My very elderly mother and my brother put their heads together 2 years ago and decided he would have the family home, I would have half of the remaining estate ie he gets 3/4 of the total.

Devastating, months after my father's death. Not the money, the hurt, the betrayal.
I have tried to do the sensible thing, forget it , get on with my life and so on.
It is eating away at me, especially as it seemed she was nearer the end a few weeks ago.
That's it, in a nut shell as they say.

It's horrible for them to have made that decision without involving you. Do you think your brother manipulated your mother in any way?

What's making you struggle to accept this? It is after all your mother's choice, how did she come to this decision with your brother? Is he more involved, more in need or other reasons why she may decide to give him the property and half the estate you the rest? Its not quiet clear if you're more concerned about the value you're going to receive or the proportion. Either way, I think you need to try and let it go and just gratefully accept the (unearned and not guaranteed) money when the time comes, after all your mother is still here so you can either ask why or just accepted it enjoy the time you have left.
