2 books I remember from my teen years, I would have read these about 10-15 years ago, this is all I can remember from both
Book 1
A book about a girl who could see spirits, she was a bit weird, no friends, not sure if it was all spirits or just one in particular but there was one main one who was with her all the time who was a big man who she was scared of and seemed angry all the time, as the book went on you discovered more of his story and they ended up friends.
Book 2
2 boys best friends who jump over garden fences as like a thrill activity, there is a fire at one of the boys houses and after this they both decide to complete a dangerous row of houses that they’ve never dared do before, they do it and although touch and go at times they make it and then it transpires that the boy who had the fire at his house actually died but had returned to complete the garden hopping with his friend. This ones title I believe is whatever they call the activity of jumping over garden fences, like ‘hopping’ but isn’t that!
They’re both young adult books I think like maybe aimed at 11-13 ish, If anyone can shed any light on either of these that would be great! I've tried putting them in search engines but I don't think there's enough info to get any results!
